In the midst of Gabby's reveries, Caleb appears.
"I heard you call," he smiles sweetly.  "I never turn down an invitation."  However, in a split second Caleb's charm turns to roughness and threats.  "You've been talking about me," he growls, grabbing Gabby's arm.

"No, I didn't say anything," Gabby whimpers in pain and fright.

"Don't . . . don't lie to me," Caleb hisses.

"I only told Frank and Karen how special you make me feel," Gabby answers, trying to appease him and soothe his wrath.

Caleb looks at her and regains his slippery charm.
"That's because you are special," he murmurs, kissing
her neck.  "And beautiful and sexy."  He moves his
head towards her mouth, moving closer for a kiss
and then teasingly pulling back.  "You do know
there's someone else," he reminds her.

"Livvie," Gabby mutters, pouting.

"Olivia," Caleb smiles, enunciating her name for added emphasis, making Gabby squirm with jealousy.  "And you know I can't get into her house uninvited. And that witch is standing guard at the house where she's staying," Caleb continues, referring to Lucy's hostile reception.  "And she won't let me in."  As he speaks, he begins kissing Gabby again, his kisses seductively blending with his deeply sensual purr.  Gabby bares her neck, sighing with sexual pleasure and yearning.
"You, however, can go anywhere," he says slyly.
"I want her, Gabriela," he emphatically states.
"I want her so bad I can taste her.  But I'm going to need your help."

As elsewhere in "Tainted Love" and the other Caleb
arcs, Caleb continually equates his longing and need
for Livvie with an urgent, overpowering, tantalizing oral sensation; like all vampires, his desire is associated with the need for oral gratification; satisfying this need brings erotic pleasure in addition
to easing hunger.

Unable to resist Caleb's charm and sexual allure,
Gabby does Caleb's bidding.  While Caleb hides in the
bushes, smirking, supremely confident of his
seductive powers, Gabby rings the doorbell to Kevin and Lucy's house and prepares the way for Caleb's possession of Livvie.

********************************************
In the next episode we see the gradual unfolding of Caleb's schemes, as well as the beginnings of Jack and Jamal's vampire-slaying studies, and the ongoing battle between Caleb and "Michael" over plans for Eve's baby.

After Gabby, doing Caleb's bidding, succeeds in meeting Livvie at Kevin's house, she subtlely provokes Livvie's interest in Caleb by talking about her extraordinary mystery man.   As she speaks of Caleb, Gabby's voice is rapturous, worshipful, entranced.  Her description vividly expresses the way Caleb
affects many of us, the continuing power he has over the hearts and souls of his legion of devotees.  Her new man, Gabby enthusiastically exclaims, is "so amazing.  He is beyond handsome, beyond sexy.  He has the most incredible blue eyes I have ever seen.  They just draw you in . . . like I don't know what.  Nothing I've ever experienced before."  Although Livvie, acting nervous and confused, seems strangely stirred by Gabby's remarks, she asks Gabby to tell her more about this man.
