| "The Gift" #7 (cont.) “Yes. I want you. I need you,” she moans. But when he opens his mouth, fangs bared, she shrinks away in fear. “No, no, no!” she cries. “Wait! I can’t do this. . . . | Whereas Livvie has become timid, sweet, wholesome, and boringly domestic, Alison becomes aggressively seductive and insanely jealous. Putting on a slinky black dress, she sashays over to Rafe, purring and leering. Lustily, like a tigress in heat, Alison nuzzles and paws at Rafe, but when he, disturbed by her animalistic advances, resists her embrace, she accuses him of secretly desiring “little Miss Goody Two Shoes” Livvie. Alarmed that Alison is acting so much like Livvie, Rafe tries to get a hold of Ian or Chris for advice. While Rafe is on the phone, Alison sneaks out the door, vowing revenge on Livvie. Suspecting that Caleb might be behind Alison’s disappearance, Rafe barges in the door of Caleb’s apartment and demands to know where Alison is. “You keep losing her like this, you might want to put a little bell around her neck,” Caleb jokes. |

| But Rafe, in no mood for Caleb’s display of wit, sputteringly relates that Alison has vanished and since she and Livvie had had a fight, he assumed Alison might have gone after Livvie. When Rafe mentions Alison’s weird personality change, Caleb remarks that Olivia has also been acting peculiar and even started baking muffins. Caleb and Rafe then realize that Livvie and Alison must have somehow “exchanged personalities.” |
