He sighs in frustration and runs his fingers through his hair as he struggles to control his urgent desire.  “I want you so bad I can taste it,” he says, his voice filled with longing.  “It hurts my heart.”

“You sound so sad,” she murmurs.

“Just impatient to be with you,” he smiles sadly.  “Your love’s a miracle.  You know that, Olivia?”  He gently nibbles at her ears, savoring the texture of her flesh.  “You brought me back from death.  And there’s just one more thing we need to do before we can be one again.”  Caleb pauses, kissing her neck, a teasing promise of the pleasures he could bring once he regains his strength.

“Tell me,” she whispers, hungering for his intimate embrace.

“Well,” Caleb explains with a mischievously tempting expression on his face, you see, there’s forces out there.  They’re starting to figure out that I’m on my way back.  And we can’t have that, can we?  Because if they know I’m here before I have my strength back we can’t be together.  I won’t be able to touch you like this, kiss you, or make love to you.”   He kisses her neck, tantalizing her with his soft, sensuous lips, his warm breath against her tingling skin.  “You still remember how that felt, don’t you?”

“Yes. Oh, yes,” Livvie moans.
As he did with Gabby in “Tainted Love,” Caleb makes Livvie yearn for more, keeps her craving.  He is her drug.  She is addicted to his kisses, his lovemaking, his body, his passion, and he can manipulate her by threatening to withhold these delights if she doesn’t do as he wishes.    This time his abstinence seems to be unchosen, forced upon him until he regains all his “powers.”  By keeping Livvie unsatisfied, though, whether by choice or by circumstance, he has her under his control.
